Quite a home business. Quite a home business owner.

I've never met anyone quite like Lena. Lena Proudlock is a model, entrepreneur, photographer and outright impressive home business owner. Not only does she run her business from home, her home has become the business. Welcome to the beautiful Berkeley House.
The life of Lena
Lena Proudlock started out in life as a model. She then moved in to fashion, launching a business called Lena and Edina (with Edina Ronay) that set the pace in knitwear and was courted by the likes of Ralph Lauren. On moving to Tetbury in Gloucestershire, Lena dedicated herself to her photography, denim business and creating a great escape out of her home, Berkeley House.
Escape to the country
We had hired the house for a Birthday celebration and it made for quite a setting.
A light lunch was held in the large, bright homely kitchen and a dinner for 30 friends and family hosted in the Orangery; a modern outbuilding set in a garden that once seen is never forgotten. If you have a Birthday or Anniversary to celebrate or an extra special business event to host, consider this as a venue. Tetbury town is on the doorstep and is crammed with antique stores and delightful deli’s.
Plans for the future
The house is fully booked in August and the business is doing well. But Lena doesn't rest on her laurels. She's now working on a joint venture with a photographer and is turning her apartment (across the road from Berkeley House) into a studio.
This energetic and impressive lady may have started life as a model but she's certainly gone on to become a model home business owner! – Emma Jones
