Here comes the weekend!

Rachael Ross says that creating a schedule for your day will help to keep it in balance, but what about your week or month. It’s all too easy to be tempted into the office for a couple of hours on a Saturday but why not take this weekend off and a few others too!
A healthy balance
One of the top reasons for wanting to work from home is to have the work/life balance that will allow you to spend more time with your family. With your daily work schedule you will have established a finishing time and an evening free to get involved with family/friends.
Now it’s time to schedule weekends off too. Establish business hours amongst colleagues, customers and suppliers and at the start of a month when reviewing what work is due and setting your goals, block off the weekends and then stick to keeping them free!
Widening horizons
Make a special effort to get out of the house on weekends, go do something new, exciting and energetic. Visit a park with the children and have a laugh. Take the opportunity to try a hobby you have wanted to do for ages. Take your partner out for a romantic meal or meet friends at the pub for lunch. Expand your horizons, enjoy your weekends and become re-energised for the week ahead.
What are you going to try this weekend?!
